Galata World Hotel - Istanbul

Bathroom was dusty with unclean towels provided.

The personnel were hospitable.

Got big size and cosy room like on pictures. Facilities we needed were available: a living room, a mini kitchen, and a kettle. The property's location was comfortable and exceptionally nice, in the beautiful historical neighborhood.

Staying at Galata World was quite an adventure. The room I had was a Studio, with a generously spacious layout. The bed offered very nice comfort, and I appreciated the daily cleaning service keeping everything tidy. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to many historic sites. Public transport options like the tram, bus, and metro were also within walking distance, made getting around easy. There were some drawbacks. The lack of basic kitchen amenities like a microwave and toaster was a letdown. The air conditioning wasn't working properly at first, and I faced issues with the shower door, which seemed broken. Though the staff were helpful and friendly, I felt these maintenance issues tarnished what could have been a perfect stay. It was a lovely place, but a few improvements could make it excellent.

Came here for 2 days, the hotel was great, it had unbeatable location really close to the Galata tower and Galata bridge. Loved our rooms with equipment. The staff was affable & nice.

Light in the room was a major downside-only one window in the bedroom and it faced the interior. The bathroom had noticeable issues like black mold in the shower and peeling paint, while the kitchen left much to be desired with non-working cooktops, insufficient cutlery, and no cleaning supplies provided. The Wi-Fi was also unreliable, doing a disappearing act more often than not. A muddy water issue spouted from the taps mid-stay. The maintenance of the furniture was lacking as well, with broken handles and doors that I had to fix myself.

The location was fantastic, nestled in a beautiful historical neighborhood with easy access to public transport. The staff were friendly and the room was generously spacious, offering great comfort after long days of sightseeing.

I faced some maintenance issues with the air conditioning that initially affected my comfort.

I loved the spacious studio, it was perfect for our family vibes! 😍 But, we faced some serious cleanliness issues and no towels change during our 4-night stay.

The studio was impressively large, with a comfy sitting area and a handy kitchenette. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool on hot days. It's also not far from sishane metro station.

Comfortable stay with great location

Spent 3 nights here with my fam. The room was huge, giving us plenty of space to chill after busy days. We loved the outdoor dining area for breakfast-it was super nice! Just wish there were more kitchen supplies like plates. A solid place!
